Learning Objectives / Objectifs d'apprentissage:

At the end of this session participants will be able to / Au terme de cette conférence, vous serez:

describe basic concepts in artificial intelligence including methods for model training and testing and the differences between machine learning and deep learning;
provide an overview of the latest applications of artificial intelligence to nuclear cardiology; and
summarize applications of artificial intelligence to cardiac CT including coronary artery calcium scanning, coronary computed tomography, and non-cardiac chest CT.

Workshop Description: This session will introduce participants to important concepts in artificial intelligence. Enriched by this background, leading experts in artificial intelligence applications to cardiac imaging will review current and future applications to nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. The goal is to highlight the strengths of artificial intelligence and to summarize potential avenues for clinical implementation including the possible downstream improvements in patient care.
