I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Cardiac Sciences in Manitoba and a doctoral candidate at the University of Manitoba, Applied Health Sciences. My research interest is Post Intensive Care Syndrome, a collection of cognitive, mental, and physical health issues that occur related to a stay in an intensive care unit that remain after hospital discharge, in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. I completed my Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees at the University of Western Ontario and my Master of Nursing degree at the University of Manitoba.
