I am Weijie Sun, a Computing Science Ph.D. student at the University of Alberta, specializing in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Concurrently, I serve as an AI/ML analyst at the Canadian VIGOUR Center, where I leverage cutting-edge technology to address complex problems. During my Master's program, I contributed to the development of Learning Models for Diagnosis and Prognosis from Electrocardiogram Data, a project that allowed me to hone my expertise in the healthcare domain. As I embark on my Ph.D., I am committed to continuing my research on utilizing Deep Learning and AI techniques in public health-related projects. My goal is to drive innovations that will ultimately enhance the quality of healthcare delivery.
