Nicholas M. Fialka is a first year cardiac surgery resident at the University of Alberta. Nicholas graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Honors Physiology and is a recent graduate of the University of Alberta MD program in 2023. His research interests include tissue engineering, valvular heart disease, and ex-situ lung perfusion. He is looking forward to this year's CCC and the future ones to come.
