Amy Dunlop is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator with bachelor’s degrees in nursing and chemistry and a master’s degree in chemistry. Having lived with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for over 25 years, Amy has a passion to help others living with diabetes and a desire to contribute to research advances, particularly using technology to reduce the burden of T1D. Amy is currently the lead Clinical Research Nurse for CIRCUIT, a study designed to assess if Control IQ technology increases time in range, reduces frequency of low blood sugar, decreases burden of diabetes self-care and partner diabetes distress, and results in healthier pregnancies and children for women with type 1 diabetes.
