Professional Practice Leader for Nurse Practitioners

Marnee Wilson is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Heart Program at St Michael’s/Unity Health Toronto, where she is also the Professional Practice Leader for NPs. She is a Course Director for the Post -Graduate Certificate Program for NPs entitled “Hospital and Acute Care for NPs” at the Centre for Professional Development at the University of Toronto. She also holds an Assitant Professor appointment at the Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.
She has been committed throughout her career to the education of Nurse Practitioners, and to the professional development and full integration of NPs in Ontario hospitals. She has taught in the MN/NP Program at the University of Toronto and until recently, held an active role at the Nurse Practitioners Association of Ontario for many years.
