I started my Ph.D. study in the program of health sciences research at the University of Sherbrooke in September 2021. My project is about the performance of prenatal screening for heart defects in Quebec under the supervision of Professor Frederic Dallaire. I also obtained a student scholarship in the amount of $5,000 from the mother-child research center of the University of Sherbrooke for this project in September 2021.
I completed my master's degree in health sciences research at the University of Sherbrooke in April 2021 (average of 4/4.3) under the supervision of Pr Benoît Cossette and Pr Mylaine Bre-ton. I was the first author of an article published in 2022 in the Journal de la santé Publique in France entitled “Transitions of pharmaceutical care in the Elderly: an evaluation of Implementation”. I chose this qualitative study optionally to improve my skills in qualitative research. I was also the co-author of another article on this trajectory, published in 2020. I also received a scholarship from the IUPLSSS of the University of Sherbrooke for my master's project in 2019, and I presented my results at the ACFAS 2021, ACRSPS-CHASPR 2021, and APES 2020 congresses.
I also graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry of health (UdeS) in 2015. I have already completed several internships at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the UdeS: laboratory of Pr Éric Rousseau (Physiology) in 2015, Pr Denis Gris (Immunology) in 2014, and Pr Gilles Boire (data analysis) in 2010. I, therefore, have several experiences in health research to my credit. I am a Canadian citizen and before my arrival in Quebec, I studied medicine in Iran and I worked as a general practitioner in a health clinic.
