Sarah is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Diabetes Management. In 2012 she started the Diabetes Consult Service with her phsycian partner to service inpatient units, outpatient renal and outpatient oncology clinics at Kingston Health Sceinces Centre. In addition to maintaining her clinical practice, Sarah has taken on a research lead position and is involved in hospital operations. She was an author on the Diabetes Canada 2018 guidelines, and has received various awards and grants for her diabetes-related research and pilot-project initiatives. In 2021 she completed her PhD at Queen's University and she continues to hold Adjunct Positions with the University of Toronto and Queen's.
