Dr. Dominique Kushneriuk is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Division of Cardiology at the University of Saskatchewan, Medical Director for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and member of the Royal University Hospital Echocardiography Lab. She graduated in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado on an athletic scholarship before completing her MD in Poland. She finished her Internal Medicine and Cardiology residencies as co-chief resident at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Kushneriuk completed fellowships in advanced echocardiography at the Vancouver General Hospital, and Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention with a special interest in women's heart health and hypertension at the University of British Columbia. She previously sat on the Canadian Society of Echocardiography (CSE) board of directors as the trainee representative and the CCS trainee committee as the CSE representative (2021-2022) and website & feedback teams (2018-2019). She has a particular area of interest in medical education and refining echocardiography competencies in cardiology training as part of the Canadian ECO Project, and as a faculty member of the CCS Trainee Review Program.
