Wynne Chiu is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the heart failure, heart transplant & mechanical circulatory support program at St. Paul’s Hospital. She has been nursing at St. Paul’s Heart Centre for over 20 years and has worked in various areas such as the cardiac surgery ICU and the adult congenital heart clinic. She currently serves as a member of the Nursing & Allied Health Council as well as the board of directors in the Canadian Heart Failure Society. She is also an adjunct professor for School of Nursing at UBC. She is passionate in her CNS role to improving health outcomes for patients living with heart failure through advocacy, quality improvement and research.
