Kelly Buxton is a staff pharmacist at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Kelly obtained her undergraduate pharmacy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010 and completed a Hospital Pharmacy Residency in 2011. She began her pharmacy career working in cardiology and critical care before moving into the areas of HIV care and infectious disease. In 2015, she briefly left her staff role to pursue a Masters Degree in Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist with the Saskatoon Heart Function clinic while completing her degree. She rejoined the cardiology team after completion of her Masters degree in 2018 and has been practicing in Cardiology and Coronary Care areas ever since. Her clinical interests include patient education, improving medication access/addressing financial barriers, and precepting pharmacy residents.
