Susanna Ogunnaike-Cooke works at the Public Health Agency of Canada, as Executive Director for vaccine safety monitoring.
Susanna joined the Canadian federal government in 2007 as an epidemiologist, and has worked in a variety of areas, including surveillance of infectious and chronic health events, emergency preparedness and response, regulatory policy (at Health Canada), and Indigenous Health (at Indigenous Services Canada).
Prior to this, Susanna worked abroad in a variety of capacities, including at the Ministry of Health in Jamaica, the Caribbean Epidemiology Centre in Trinidad, and several consultancies for the Pan American Health Organisation, the United Nations Joint Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and the United Nations Development Program.
