Darshan Brahmbhatt is a cardiologist who joined the HF/Transplant team in Toronto as a clinical fellow from London, UK in October 2019. He graduated from the University of Cambridge, taking up clinical training in the East of England and academic training at the University of Cambridge. His Masters thesis was on epigenetics of heart failure and potential therapeutic targets. He completed his clinical training in Cardiology in 2017, sub-specialising in heart failure/cardiac transplant and complex device implantation at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge subsequently completing his Doctoral research at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London on remote monitoring in heart failure. He has recently taken up a post as Heart Failure Attending at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
