Mena Gewarges is currently a fellow in cardiac critical care at Toronto General Hospital. She earned her MD at the University of Toronto and went on to complete training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Toronto, with subsequent training in advanced heart failure/transplant/mechanical circulatory support at Toronto General Hospital. Her interests centre on the care of critically ill patients with a focus on mechanical circulatory support.
