I have had the pleasure of being involved with cardiovascular research throughout my undergraduate degree at Queen's University as a cardiology research assistant at the Kingston Health Sciences Center, investigating topics in clinical cardiology, sports medicine, echocardiography, and point-of-care ultrasound. Some of my research interests include the prevention of sudden cardiac death in athletes, the community response to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, and the application of point-of-care ultrasound imaging for cardiovascular risk stratification. I aim to pursue a medical career as a clinician-scientist in the field of cardiology.
