Nicholas Grubic graduated from Queen’s University with Bachelor of Honours Sciences (Life Sciences) and Certificate in Business in 2019, as well as Master's in Science (Epidemiology) in 2021. He is currently a doctoral student in Epidemiology within the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Nicholas has been a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on various research grants funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Information, Southeastern Ontario Academic Medical Organization, Canadian Cardiovascular Society, and AMS Healthcare. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals, including the British Medical Journal, Canadian Journal of Cardiology, British Journal of Sports Medicine, Current Cardiology Reports, Current Problems in Cardiology, American Journal of Emergency Medicine, Prehospital Emergency Care, Journal of Electrocardiology, and other leading medical journals. Nicholas is also an active trainee member with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and is the current Journals Representative for the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Trainee Committee. Apart from his academic work, Nicholas was a prior varsity athlete at Queen's University (rowing and triathlon) and competed for Team Ontario at the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
