Suzie Betteridge-LeBlanc, BScN, MD candidate is currently completing her final year of medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury, ON. She is currently in the process of starting residency in Internal Medicine with the penultimate goal of pursuing Cardiology as a specialty. Prior to medicine, she recieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University in Hamilton. She then practiced for a number of years as a cardiac nurse and nurse educator teaching new nurses in Critical Care areas about ECG and Hemodynamics across North Eastern Ontario. She has been part of a number of projects and publications including the safety of TAVI discharge in Northern Ontario and Rural areas and Gamification to Promote Engagement. She is engaged in a variety of committees serving her local community including the Annual HSN Cardiovascular Symposium and HSN CME planning.
