explain the rationale for testing lipoprotein(a) ;
apply the 2021 Canadian Cardiovascular Society Guidelines for lipoprotein(a) testing; and
identify opportunities to enhance CV risk management in clinical practice.

Session Description:Lipoprotein(a) is a protein measurable in blood that, when elevated, increases the risk of cardiovascular episodes. This accredited symposium is intended to raise awareness on the significance of lipoprotein(a) and ensure that healthcare practitioners understand the CCS 2021 Guideline for the Management of Dyslipidemia and are applying them to improve patient care and outcomes.
