Learning Objectives / Objectifs d'apprentissage:

At the end of this session participants will be able to / Au terme de cette conférence, vous serez:

understand career paths for Internal Medicine, Cardiac Surgery, Cardiology and Cardiac Critical Care;
learn from experience of residents and faculty from across Canada; and
start the process of developing mentorship relationships.

Session Description: This interactive session will start with a panel Q&A. This will be followed by a period of small group discussion for students interested in cardiac surgery, students interested in internal medicine, residents interested in cardiology fellowship and residents interested in cardiac critical care. Speakers from across Canada will share their experience and advice for pursuing a career in cardiovascular medicine & surgery. We hope to initiate the process of developing longitudinal and meaningful mentorship relationships.
