IDEA Lounge


Thursday, October 26 to Saturday, October 28

 The IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Lounge is an open space where you can:

  1. Learn. Engage with experts through scheduled presentations and conversations on IDEA best practices in health and community settings.
  2. Reflect. Explore your biases and through a hands-on activity, co-create a solution to dismantle ableism in healthcare.
  3. Act. Identify opportunities and take a pledge as a healthcare provider to integrate anti-racist and anti-oppression approaches in your practice.

With guidance from curated resources from all host organizations, you will be better equipped to apply these learnings to your professional practice.
