This workshop is for clinicians who want to keep current with the pace of recent advances in the management of speech sound disorders in children from toddlers to school-age. Models of assessment, target selection, and phonological intervention will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
Select developmentally appropriate assessment and intervention approaches in the management of SSD in children
Complete phonological analyses of disordered speech using an error analysis (PVM) and a systemic analysis (SPACS).
Use clinical reasoning to select the most appropriate models for phonological analysis, target selection, and intervention.
