Perinatal mental health disorders are the number one complication of pregnancy, yet obstetric providers receive little formal training in prevention and treatment of these common conditions. This forum will introduce the biological impact of these disorders on offspring and provide tools to prevent and treat anxiety and depression in the perinatal period.
