Marianne Stuck is an Urban Designer and certified Planner with Design Workshop. With over twelve years of international design experience, she has been responsible for concept development through construction documentation, in projects ranging from small public space interventions, streetscapes, corridor design and planned communities to large urban planning projects which defined design guidelines for entire cities. Her background in architecture and urban design has helped her effectively link design with broader goals of thoughtful urbanization while pursuing her interest that include LEED ND, tactical urbanism and social justice. She also had the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of urban design as a discipline in Chile through numerous teaching appointments. Marianne is a licensed architect in Chile and was awarded with the Fulbright Scholarship in 2002 to pursue a master’s degree in urban design from the University of California-Berkeley. She has recently been involved in several urban design/ transportation projects that include the use of tactical urbanism as a public engagement strategy, Great Streets master plans and various streetscape projects.
