Angelica P. Gonzalez is a public sector planner with over 15 years of experience in the Washington, DC Metro region and San Francisco Bay Area. She is currently a Community Planner with the Montgomery Planning Department with the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission. In her role, she develops master plans and manages placemaking initiatives. Prior to working as a Community Planner, she served as a project manager for development projects under development review which includes TOD, commercial, mixed use, and residential development in Montgomery County, Fairfax County, and the City of Alameda in California. She also serves as a committee member for the Urban Land Institute’s Pathways to Inclusion program.
Angelica holds a Master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in urban studies and planning from the University of California, San Diego.
