Planning Project Manager & Geographic Discipline Leader
Bergmann
Rochester, New York
Molly Gaudioso is a planning and zoning specialist with Bergmann working out of the Rochester, NY office, but more accurately defines herself as a full-time planning and zoning nerd. Introduced to planning through an undergraduate elective course, Molly was intrigued by its interdisciplinary nature, leading her to pursue a master's in City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University. Since then, she has completed more than 50 planning and regulatory projects in communities across New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
Her experience as a planning consultant, municipal staff member, and planning commissioner has only affirmed her view that local land use policies and regulations are the number one drivers of community change, for better or worse. She believes in a transformative mindset, challenging the status quo and being intentional in the development of policy initiatives to redress the grievances of past planning practice. Because of this, Molly has become increasingly passionate about working with local decision-makers, administrators, and the public to develop a common understanding of land use law, regulatory implications, and the tools effective in achieving their future land use and development visions.
