Nia Holt, AICP is an urban planner with a focus on municipal planning and affordable housing policy from Dayton, Ohio. She is currently the Zoning Administrator for the City of Riverside, Ohio. Her current work involves implementing zoning code revisions which will expand housing choice for Riverside residents. She was previously employed with Louisville Metro Planning & Design Services for 4 years. Nia has presented on the history of housing policies and their impact on the African American community at several community events such as the Russell Neighborhood Homecoming Weekend. She also led many tours which celebrate the contributions of Black Louisvillians to housing history for students, planning professionals, and local Louisville leaders. She led these tours in role as a former Community Advisory Council member for the UofL Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice Research. Nia holds dual Maters in Urban Planning and Public Administration from the University of Louisville. She is also a proud member of the historically black sorority Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
