Mr. Kerry A. Wrobel is President & CEO of Lehigh Valley Industrial Park, Inc. (LVIP), a private non-profit economic development corporation. He has responsibilty for LVIP's 2,500-acre park system. Mr. Wrobel is managing the redevelopment of 1,000 acres of the former Bethlehem Steel plant in Bethlehem, Pa,, considered one of the largest brownfield sites in the nation. Known as LVIP VII at the Bethlehem Commerce Center, LVIP's current industrial park project has created 6.5 million square-feet of build-out, $750 million in investment, and 4,500 jobs to date.
LVIP VII has received the Phoenix Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence.
Prior to joining LVIP, Mr. Wrobel held several managmement positions with Crayola.
He received his BA in economics and psychology from Swarthmore College and MA in Public Policy & Management from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Wrobel is a certified economic development finance professional.
