Alysia Davis Osborne, AICP is a Division Manager/Assistant Director in the City of Charlotte's Planning, Design and Development Department and has over 20 years of public and private sector experience in land use, zoning, corridor revitalization and transit station area planning. She is currently leading implementation and project manager for the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan - Charlotte’s first comprehensive plan in almost 50 years. Prior to returning to the public sector in December 2019, Alysia was Vice President of Planning and Development for Charlotte's downtown business improvement district where she managed a $1.5 million grant to strategically guide equitable growth and development in marginalized neighborhoods.
Alysia, a Mississippi native, has a BA in Political Science/Pre-Law, a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and also holds professional certifications in Nonprofit Management, Commercial Real Estate and Municipal and County Government Administration.
