Rob Zoeller, AICP is an Associate Planner with the City of Beaverton, Oregon. He started his career in architecture in New York 14 years ago after completing the Master of Architecture program at The University of Texas at Austin. Nearly six years ago, he transitioned to planning after completing the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at Portland State University. Rob is part of the long range team that leads the development of district and neighborhood plans. His recent work on a housing options strategy prioritized racial equity, removed barriers to middle housing, and created design and development standards for new housing types throughout the city. He is currently working on an urban expansion project that will provide a vision for nearly 5,000 homes, including a mix of single-detached dwellings and middle housing, that honors the unique landscape and ensures a legacy of natural resource protection and connection for the area. Rob is originally from Boston, graduated from Middlebury College, and currently lives in Portland with his husband, twins and two dogs.
