As Director, Patricia provides, planning and goal development for the Creative Community Advancement portfolio. Under the Equity + Local Arts Engagement department, she engages with and works to educate local arts agency leaders on how to utilize arts-based tactics like public art, civic design, creative placemaking, and more to address community needs and goals. Her work supports professional development, resource building and networking opportunities for arts administrators to utilize the arts to activate accessible public spaces and enable inclusive and equitable community development.
Patricia is a member of the American Planning Association and sits on the Arts & Planning Interest Group Committee, a Full Member of Urban Land Institute, and a juror for the Jorge and Darlene Pérez Prize in Public Art & Civic Design.
She holds a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University, a Bachelor of Arts in painting from State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and an Associates in Applied Science in Commercial Art from Dutchess Community College.
