Passionate about the cultivation of multifunctional, equitable spaces, Katie utilizes her expertise in planning, community engagement, and (landscape) design to harmonize the economic and ecological needs of people and the environment. Having worked on a wide range of domestic and international projects, her knowledge has been essential in expanding her design team’s public consensus portfolio as she continues to contribute and lead projects of various scopes and scales. In addition to her role as a planner and landscape with EDSA based in New York City, Katie has previously worked for various public, private and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and internationally in Denmark. In addition, she has volunteered with the American Planning Association at the local, university, state, and national levels. Katie attended the University of Cincinnati and University of Washington, studying landscape architecture and urban planning + design.
