Sherwin Racehorse has over twenty-eight year’s work experience in research and development, planning, design and drafting, administration and management for technical projects and programs at any stage of development. Recently, he served four years as Senior Planner for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. While in that capacity he administered and provided oversight of the 2018 Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy processes. He is currently a part-time student at the Idaho State University seeking a Master of Public Administration. He has a 2013 BA in Urban and Regional Planning from the College of Business and Public Administration, Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington. Sherwin is a 2012 Udall Scholar under the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation and a two-time recipient of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program, FHWA. He has many years of volunteer organizational service that currently includes serving as Co-Chair of the Tribal and Indigenous Planning Division of the American Planning Association. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Agri-Business and Tribal Enterprise Corporation’s. He recently authored the Corporation’s Strategic Plan for Economic Development. Mr. Racehorse is an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
