In her role as Vice President of Real Estate Services, Angie Fredrickson focuses primarily on leading PIDC’s efforts to reposition the Lower Schuylkill River into a vibrant modern industrial district centered around life sciences manufacturing with an emphasis on the rapidly expanding cell & gene therapy sector.
A native Texan, Angie moved to Philadelphia to attend law school and subsequently practiced maritime law for several years before serving as the Director of Business Development at the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority. Prior to earning her J.D., Angie worked in project management, transportation planning, and environmental planning at two of the largest ports in the United States – the Port of Long Beach, California, and the Port of Seattle, Washington. Angie was also a NOAA Washington Sea Grant Marc Hershman Marine Policy Fellow; during her fellowship she worked with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources to develop a plan for adapting to projected climate change impacts in coastal environments.
Angie holds a J.D. from Drexel University, a Masters of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington, and a Bachelors Degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and birding with her daughter and husband.
