Kevin Myers is the Urban Planner for the Chester County (PA) Planning Commission. He is part of a division of that is responsible for direct interaction with Chester County’s 73 municipalities and partners to achieve consistency with Landscapes3, the county comprehensive plan. Serving as the Urban Planner, Kevin provides direct support to the county’s 15 boroughs and city, as well as providing support and grant monitoring through the Vision Partnership Program. Kevin has more than 20 years’ experience with comprehensive planning and ordinance updates at the municipal and regional level, in addition to expertise in project management and facilitation.
Kevin has directly led or monitored a broad variety of projects from urban community comprehensive plan updates and zoning rewrites to economic development studies and bicycle and pedestrian (active transportation) plans. One of his responsibilities is host the annual Chester County Urban Centers Forum, including developing content, recruiting speakers, and coordinating on logistics for the event. The forums change locations annually and seek to provide the Urban Centers with timely guidance on planning opportunities and challenges.
