RJ Palladino, AICP/PP, Senior Director, Capital Planning, NJ TRANSIT Planning Department
RJ has over 25 years of public transit planning experience. Working in NJ TRANSIT’s Planning Department, Mr. Palladino manages corridor, regional and major transit investment studies, coordinates interagency planning efforts, and plans for multi-modal station investments. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a New Jersey Licensed Professional Planner (PP). RJ earned his Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey with a major in Public Administration.
Recent Projects:
• Project manager for the completion of the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Raritan River Bridge Replacement Project.
• Project manager for the completion of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Hudson Tunnel Project.
• Currently RJ is leading NJ TRANSIT's NewBus initiative to redesign the state’s bus network. Initial redesign efforts focused on Newark’s regional bus network. A second redesign effort is focused on NJ TRANSIT bus service in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties and may include a potential South Jersey BRT system.
