Dr. João L. Cavalcante is the Director of Cardiac MRI and Structural CT at the Minneapolis Heart Institute. Scientific Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center and Core Lab. His passion for multimodality Imaging and focus on valve and structural heart disease has lead to training of several international post-doc scholars, > 150 peer-reviewed original investigations, book chapters, training workshops, national and international lectures. He is an Associate Editor for the European Heart Journal and the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
