This course is intended to be a review of spinal pathology that is frequently encountered but not on a daily/weekly basis. We will begin with a review of radiological studies and then discuss vascular lesions, infections and spinal deformity, before reviewing oncology in the afternoon. Didactic presentations will incorporate audience response/polling and end with OSCE-style case presentations.

Learning Objectives:

Describe common imaging modalities for spinal conditions and understand which test is most appropriate for different conditions.
Describe an approach to a variety of spinal conditions, including when to consider surgical options over conservative strategies.
Discuss a variety of management strategies in spinal oncology.
Increase their comfort discussing spine scenarios in an OSCE-type setting.
