This course will review basic and advanced clinical aspects of movement disorders presenting in childhood. Canadian experts practicing in the field of movement disorders will cover a spectrum of conditions ranging from benign to severe. The course will provide both diagnostic tips as well as basic and advanced management strategies.

Learning Objectives:

Differentiate between benign and concerning movement disorders presenting in children
Specify the diagnostic strategies appropriate to investigate children with movement disorders
Discuss the pharmacological, surgical, and behavioural interventions that can be useful in treating children with movement disorders
