A review of neuroinflammatory conditions such as multiple sclerosis, NMOSD, MOGAD, and CNS vasculitis. Related disorders/mimickers including leukodystrophies, autoimmune encephalitis/paraneoplastic syndromes and neuroinfectious diseases will also be covered.

Learning Objectives:

A review of neuroinflammatory conditions such as multiple sclerosis, NMOSD, MOGAD, and CNS vasculitis. Related disorders/mimickers including leukodystrophies, autoimmune encephalitis/paraneoplastic syndromes and neuroinfectious diseases will also be covered.
Distinguish imaging characteristics of classic neuroinflammatory disorders from their mimics.
Develop an approach to assessment of suspected neuroinflammatory disorders.
Become familiar with common neuroimmune mimics (i.e. leukodystrophies, autoimmune/paraneoplastic, and neuroinfectious disorders).
