Optical Coherence Tomography is a non-invasive, high-resolution cross-sectional imaging modality that enhances the evaluation and management of retinal disease. This course will review interpretation and clinical application of OCT in the primary eye care setting.
Learning Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Review the anatomical characteristics of the vitreous, neurosensory retina, retinal pigment epithelium and choroid as visualized by OCT
Understand the applicability of OCT in the primary eye care setting
Review the interpretation of OCT scans and understand which disease entities are maximally imaged with this modality
