This course will provide an evidence-based approach to managing individuals with challenging cases of glaucoma. Current and emerging technologies and pharmaceutical agents as related to glaucoma will be discussed.

Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Evaluate underlying mechanisms for progressive disease which may not be measurable in a clinical environment
Recognize features of clinical entities which require alternative or adjunctive treatment to intraocular pressure lowering alone
Examine alternative medication and treatment options for intraocular pressure lowering
Appraise artifacts and pitfalls of ancillary tests
