This course will cover the most commonly used oral pharmaceuticals prescribed by doctors of optometry, as well as various other drugs prescribed by medical professionals that can impact ocular health. There will be several grand rounds cases highlighting the topics discussed.

Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Accurately prescribe and treat common ocular patholgies needing oral treatment.
Understand how other oral medications prescribed outside of optometry's care can affect the eyes.
Review specific grand rounds cases that commonly present in our daily clinics. The cases will outline a patient background, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
