This course will review double vision including how to diagnose, evaluate and treat the medically/neurologically cleared diplopic patient with lenses, prisms, filters, and vision therapy activities. We will review which additional sensorimotor tests need to be performed and how to bill for them.
Learning Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Learn and improve competence on a variety of techniques to perform a sensorimotor binocular vision exam to properly evaluate and diagnose the diplopic patient
Improve patient outcomes by learning techniques to ameliorate symptoms utilizing lenses, prisms, filters and adaptive methods
Learn and experience vision therapy activities to assist the diplopic patient
