This course will provide a general review of retinal vascular occlusive disease, including the clinical manifestations and who is at risk. The lecture highlights the proper diagnosis, management, and follow-up schedule of retinal vein and artery occlusions. Appropriate treatment and preferred practice guidelines will be presented.

Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Describe the pathogenesis of CRVO, BRVO, HRVO, CRAO, BRAO and Ophthalmic Artery Occlusion
Be familiar with the vascular supply to the eye including arteriolar and venous pathways and carotid artery innervation
Understand the impact of systemic disease on retinal vascular occlusive disease
Understand the management and clinical approaches to management of these condition
