The great mystery of organizational initiatives is: why is sustainable adoption so elusive? Through years of successes and failures, one component that has become a bedrock of the Learning and KM team at TechnipFMC is the need to always define and deploy a tightly crafted and customized change management and communications strategy that encourages employee engagement. and aligns with the culture of the target audience(s).
Participants in this master class will explore the ways in which combining blended learning and KM solutions drive adoption of best practices, ensure successful change management, leverage communities of practice-- including experts and executive sponsors, and create a high employee engagement. All of which lead to the end goal: sustainable adoption and the understanding that the implemented change will evolve over time as new improvements are identified by engaged employees.
Three case studies will be used to illustrate these points: • Implementation of a new engineering design methodology to a change-fatigued 9,000-strong engineering community • Redefinition and new launch of KM platforms on the Office 365 platform after a merger of two large multinational corporations • Partnering with Fellows and Legal to identify, define and launch a global initiative with about intellectual property with our Technical Expertise Program members as champions and first-adopters
