Mohamed Z. Youssef received his PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Canada in June 2006. Afterwards, he was an adjunct assistant professor, involved in teaching undergraduate courses and research for the telecom based industry power supplies, till September 2006. Since September 2006, he has been a senior research and development (R&D) engineer at Bombardier Transportation till September 2012. He moved to Alstom Transport as an R&D engineering manager for the HESOP technology before joining UOIT recently as an Associate Professor. He also has more than 100 journals and conference papers in the most prestigious international journals and conferences with 5 worldwide patents.
