Silvanus D'silva received his Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Mumbai, India (MU). He obtained his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University in 2020. He also worked as a graduate researcher in the TEES lab at the Smart Grid Centre in Texas A&M University at Qatar from January 2021 to August 2021. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois Chicago.

His research interests include Power Electronics for renewable power systems and their applications in future smart grid, power distribution systems, etc.
