Shimul K. Dam received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2013, the M.E. and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2015 and 2020 respectively. At present, he is working as a research associate in CURENT, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. His research interests include cryogenic power electronics, aviation power electronics, and energy storage systems.
