Mojtaba Mohaddes Ph.D. P.Eng, COO, Transgrid Solutions Inc.
Mojtaba (Mo) Mohaddes graduated from the University of Manitoba and joined Brandt Consultants Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1997 where he worked as an HVDC and FACTS control and protection engineer. Since 2003 he’s been with TransGrid Solutions (TGS) where he’s currently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He has been involved in many power electronics projects, particularly in the area of FACTS and HVDC systems. He is a senior member of IEEE and the 2022 recipient of the IEEE Nari Hingurani’s award for FACTS and Custom Power.
