Power Development Engineer

Eric Swenson is a member of the IBM Senior Technical Staff working as a Power Development Engineer. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and has been working in Power Development and Qualification field for 32 years. Eric was a significant contributer to the IPC-9592 standard and the two follow-up releases of the document. His expertise is in reliability testing including HALT and other highly accellerated life tests. Other fields of interest are redundant operations of power assemblies and verificaiton that they meet system requirements, stability verification, and power assembly manufacturing processes. He is the lead supplier process auditor for IBM in the power subsystem.
